The Cultural Centre Named after V.S. Sorokin was opened by the Yelets collector E.P. Krikunov in 2006. On the ground floor there is an exhibition hall with regularly changed exhibits, canvases from the 18-20th century artists and ancient Russian painting. On the first floor you can find a permanent exhibition of pictures painted by «The People’s artist of Russia» V. S. Sorokin.
